Big Fat Web Hosting is a British web hosting company based in Worthing, (near Brighton) on the south coast of England. Big Fat Web Hosting was launched in October 2004 as a new breed of web host with a human touch... a far breed from the usual faceless, corporate robots. A web host that is friendly, professional and willing to help and support their clients every step of the way!
We don't confuse you with multiple hosting plans. We only offer ONE low cost web hosting plan which includes a massive 500MB of webspace
which can be paid monthly, annually or bi-annually by PayPal.
We don't just cater for businesses. Our services are available for everyone.
We don't baffle you with technical jargon! All information is laid out in plain English, complete with a concise Help and FAQ.
Our customer service is second to none, with prompt and friendly email help and support.
We don't waste time building a flash website with silly pictures of businessmen with glasses. We'd rather devote that time to giving you a prompt friendly service.
What unique selling points do you offer?
Well, support comes to mind, but that has already been explained.
Our big difference is the fact that you will NOT find technical jargon spewed across our website.
We believe strongly in explaining things in PLAIN ENGLISH.
A glance at our Help and FAQ pages will show you what we mean.
Everything is explained in detail. I laugh when I see web hosting homepages listing their features in web host speak, which will baffle novices. Like I said, there are a ot of newbies. We are different because we are there to help them launch their first websites.
Also, unlike other hosts, we are available EVERY day, including weekends, to help by email. We can also give web design advice if needed.
Describe the services you offer?
A service.
The service of giving customers to tools to enable them to launch and run websites.
A 24 hour service.
Describe your target market?
Anyone who wants somewhere to host a website.
We don't only cater for businesses. We also don't only cater for newbies. Everybody is welcome. ;)
How is your company planning for the future?
We will be still giving the same helpful service that we have always managed to do. We will have grown, but we will NOT and refuse to become corporate and faceless.
What benefits can you offer your customers?
I think answers 1 and 2 explain our answer.
Excellent support, a good friendly service that is always available and no technical jargon!
How do you support your customers?
As stated earlier, this is our strongest point.
We mainly provide support by email. I feel this is the best way as nothing can be missed (as sometimes a customer may forget to mention something on the phone) , and everything can be answered methodically. We are available by phone, but this is not always manned.
We also offer techical support in the way of fixing website code for the customers, should their be unfortunate enough to make a mistake in their coding and break their website.
We offer support by email ANY time and , although we usually reply within the hour or even less, customers (say, in different timezones) may only be waiting a few hours at the most.
